Aberdaron is an amazing little village located right at the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula looking out southwest into Aberdaron Bay and the Irish Sea beyond that. Picturesque is an understatement and it remains quiet and unspoilt despite having an amazing surfing beach right on its doorstep. If its flat there are some good walks around here and here are also several good pubs to check out after the session.
It produces consistent and well-formed peeling waves right up to the peak of high tide. Take care at the top of the tide, when the waves break direct onto the boulders underneath the cliff. This apart, Aberdaron provides a great environment for all levels of surfer and you will be struggling to pack your board bags to leave.
