Ballybunion

Ballybunion is one of Irelands more unique waves. The main beach is a strip of golden sand, which produces good beach break waves safe for all level of surfers. The more interesting peak is at the right end of the beach tucked under the headland, where the waves break peeling into the beach as right-handers. The take off point for catching these waves can be almost within touching distance of the cliff face, so this wave is not for the faint hearted!
