Click here for map | The Isle of Lewis has several good beach breaks and Cliff Beach is certainly one of the best of these, the beach is of fine golden sand encompassed by headlands at both ends. There are two main peaks, a left under the southerly headland and a right under the northerly one, which help channel the swell up into good walling waves. There is even a rip for experienced surfers to help with the paddle out to the main peak. All in all a great surf spot.
