Kennack Sands is one enormous beach until high tide, and enormous is almost an understatement. At high tide a large rock reef separates it into two but until then it is a limitless board riders playground. It works best in bigger swells due to the beach facing east, although this means that it works when other more west facing beaches are blown out. It produces typical spilling beach break waves at all stages of the tide that are suitable for all levels of surfer and with the size of the beach you will be guaranteed waves to yourself.

The beach is quite remote but is thoroughly worth the search to find, especially if you a family or group of friends in search of some seclusion or your own space away from the crowds. It has lots of things to do up at the holiday park if you are not surfing, especially if you have children in tow. You wont stay away from the beach for long though, because Kennack Sands is a corker of a beach.
