Seaton beach is a long sand and pebble beach tucked under some small cliffs below the village of Seaton in South Devon. It is an out of the way location, which due to its size and location will give you the space to find some peace and quiet, even at the height of summer when the madding crowds are filling other beaches off on the North Coast.

The beach works best at low to mid tide and being slightly more sheltered is in its element of big blown out days on the more eastern beaches. Most ideally suited to novice surfers looking for space to practice and hone their skills or kite and wind surfers, when the wind is favourable.

The best activities out of the water are just up the road in Plymouth, which has some of Devon's best nightlife, leisure and history throughout the City, and in Dartmoor National Park.
