Rhosneigr Beach

Rhosneigr is a hugely varied and flexible beach. The beach is in front of a small town on a sandy headland jutting out into Caernarfon Bay and has several strips of fine sand facing from northwest to south. It therefore works well under a range of wind conditions and has been a long time favourite of windsurfers and more recently kite boarders because it will work in almost any conditions. For surfing it works best when a southwest swell pushes up from the Irish Sea and produces good quality left and right beach breaks.

Rhosneigr is a sleepy town with a couple of pubs and restaurants, which is all you need after experiencing a heavy day at this challenging and rewarding beach.
