Polzeath beach is a fantastic surfing beach with the added benefit of being absolutely stunning! It is a very durable beach offering a variety of waves, on various peaks, across the whole tidal range and in most swells. It is located between two low headlands giving the beach a long narrow shape. This creates shifting peaks that produce lefts and rights in the middle of the beach along with a right hand point break off Pentire Point when the swell is big and channelled up into the side of the bay.

Polzeath is an all round excellent wave that produces the goods for surfers of all abilities, year round. The village also has many things to either keep children busy whilst you are in the water or for you to tackle during flat spells. There are two great pubs for after the day at the beach with the added benefit of Rock, Padstowe and Wadebridge just up the road if you want more. This is undoubtedly one of Cornwall's top beaches.
