Rhossili beach, just below The worm's Head, is an adventurous surfers dream. The location is pretty secluded and as the pictures show - you can have it to yourself if you are lucky! There are 5 kilometres of sand to explore and thus an infinity of shifting peaks to surf. If there is surf on the Gower anywhere, Rhossili will pick it up and so on a stormy day the waves can be big and challenging.

Rhossili Beach is at the southern end of Llangenith Beach, north of the Worms Head (the giant headland and reef that pokes out towards the Atlantic). It is a huge red sand beach set at the foot of beautifully rugged hills, which are themselves worth climbing for the view of the whole area, if you have any energy left from the beach. There's a good pub to relax in and from where watch the sun go down over the Worms Head.
