Llangenith beach sits at the top end of Rhossilli Bay. It is a huge red sand beach set in front of a rolling swathe of yellow sand dunes and due to the curve of the Bay looks back down to the Worms Head at Rhossilli, 5 kilometres to the south. The location is quite secluded although slightly busier than Rhossilli, with a fantastic Holiday Park right on its doorstep.
There are three peaks, which work best on the upper half of the tide when the waves hit the steeper part of the beach, producing excellent quality, uncrowded waves. Beyond this there are 5 kilometres of sand to explore to the south and thus infinity of shifting peaks to surf. If there is surf on the Gower anywhere, Llangenith will deliver the goods.
