Pease Bay has a strong reputation as a safe beach and an easy going and consistent surfing spot. In the centre is a great beach break with a surprising amount of variety for a small bay. On the left hand corner of the bay is a consistent right breaking off a rocky extension of the high cliffs that surround the bay. This contrasts with the good lefts that can be had off the main peak at the top, north end of the bay.
Pease Bay is a clean, safe beach and has excellent facilities provided by the local holiday park. If you want to be doing more than surfing, then one of Europe's most vibrant and charismatic cities is just up the road. Edinburgh has absolutely everything you could ask for from a city, nightlife, culture, history and cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Pease Bay is great for surfers of all abilities and an excellent spot for young surfers or family groups looking for a base for a longer period of surfing.
